MacroMealBlueprint is a nutrition planning tool available at macromealblueprint.com. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this service.

What We Collect and Why

We collect the minimum necessary to deliver the service. Here is every data point we store, why we store it, and the legal basis under GDPR.

What We Do Not Collect

Some data categories are deliberately out of scope. We do not hold them, we do not process them, and our systems are not built to receive them.

Never stored
  • Height, weight, or birthdate — these are never stored in our system.
  • Your age is entered at Blueprint creation and recalculated automatically from the creation date going forward — it is not stored as a date of birth.
  • We do not collect any health records or medical information.

Community Content and Attribution

Recipes and food images submitted to MacroMealBlueprint are shared with the community under a free-use with attribution licence. They are publicly visible and referenced to this website.

By default, contributions are attributed to your username. You may opt in to displaying your name via your configurable public profile page, where you control which information is visible.

Data Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary to deliver the service or as required by law.

Third Parties

We use privacy-first analytics that do not set cookies and do not share individual-level data with third parties.

We do not use advertising networks or tracking pixels.

Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights. To exercise any of them, contact us at the address in Section 8. We will respond within 30 days.

  • Access
    Request a copy of your personal data that we hold.
  • Rectification
    Ask us to correct any inaccurate data we hold about you.
  • Erasure
    Ask us to delete your personal data — the "right to be forgotten."
  • Portability
    Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection
    Object to processing based on legitimate interest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
